Night Care
Night Care
We also offer a night service. This could include supporting you with personal care; reassurance; companionship; supporting your specialist needs; end of life care.
Overnight care is for people who have additional needs throughout the night or become more anxious during the early hours when alone.
Different people require differing amount’s of support overnight. We offer two types of service, waking nights and sleeping nights
Waking Nights
Waking nights – Our care worker stays awake and will support your needs / specialist needs throughout the night.
Sleeping Nights
Sleeping night – Our care worker will sleep in your home but is available if required.
Reasons someone may want / need overnight care
Support with personal care or mobility – support with personal care; assisting you in and out of bed throughout the night whilst using toilet / commode.
Specialist care and support – We can support with PEG feeding; ventilation / cough assist or suctioning; medication support and much more. Give our Care Manager a call to find out more on 01449 678000.
Reassurance – Some people’s anxieties become more heightened overnight, they may call family frequently for help. We can provide reassurance and companionship which can really help to make you feel safe and reassured that someone is there in an emergency. We can make you a hot drink, help settle you and hopefully this will help you to get a better nights sleep and be more able to face the day ahead.
End of Life support – We also offer support to people who are near the end of life. We can sit and keep you company, make you comfortable whilst your family get some rest. We can provide appropriate support with personal care or specialist care throughout the night.
